The test samples were installed in a 4920mm(L)*3370mm(W)*2800mm(H) test room. A total of 54 temperature probes were placed within the test room. The test room was set to maintain a start temperature of 32.2° C. The units were set to the lowest available cooling mode temperature set point and the maximum fan speed. The portable air conditioner was operated continuously for a period of 60 minutes. A 54-point average temperature was recorded initially and after the 60-minute mark.
