Flex Tape® Flood Protection is a super-strong waterproof tape that is one part one part of The Flex Seal Family of Flood Protection Products—an innovative line of products specifically designed to work together to create multiple layers of super-strong waterproof protection that can help seal out floodwaters and be easily removed after water recedes.
 
Flex Tape® Flood Protection has a powerful adhesive with a thick, flexible rubberized backing that conforms to virtually any shape and surface to create a watertight, flexible barrier. It’s excellent for sealing: window seams, door seams, garage door seams, vents, ducts, and other openings (small and large).

No Water Penetration through ½” gaps at depths up to 2 feet, for 14 days

Verification Method

Product was applied to a rectangular shaped gap. The gap was 10” long by ½” wide. The ½” gap width was tested on a painted substrate. A fixture capable of holding 24” inches of simulated flood water from the bottom edge of each “L” shaped gap was used for the testing. The testing was conducted for 14 days while monitoring for leaks. All products were applied per the manufacturer’s instructions.
