Verification Method
The input current, power, and light output is measured before and after conditioning according to ANSI/IES LM-79: Optical and Electrical Measurements of Solid State Lighting Products. Samples are conditioned at the specified ambient temperature for the hours specified in the claim. Samples are handled and operated for the physical, environmental, and electrical conditions outlined in ANSI/IES LM-84: Approved Method: Measuring Luminous Flux and Color Maintenance of LED Lamps, Light Engines, and Luminaires. Per AEC - Q102: Failure Mechanism Based Stress Test Qualification for Discrete Optoelectronic Semiconductors in Automotive Applications: - The current deviations before and after condition testing shall not be greater than ±10%. - The color coordinates (x,y) deviations before and after condition testing shall not be greater than ±0.01. - The output deviations before and after condition testing shall not be greater than ±20%.
