Perfect Reproduction technology delivers content coverage >95% up to 500lux
Standardized test videos with known color gamut envelopes are used as the input. A camera is used to record the display’s output under room lighting conditions: 0 lux, 50 lux, 200 lux, and 500 lux. The recorded outputs are then converted into ‘viewed’ color gamut envelopes. The percent content coverage is derived by comparing the input and output color gamut envelopes. The worst-case comparison will be reported in the claim. The following test methods and test patterns were used during this assessment: • Information Display Measurements Standard (IDMS), Version 1.1, July 19, 2021, Section 11.5 Ring light reflection and 5.32 Color Gamut Envelope - Color Capability • IDMS CAPL-25 Test Pattern • IEC Broadcast Test Video (IEC 62087-2, Audio, video, and related equipment - Determination of power consumption - Part 2: Signals and media
