Sound defusing nozzle that lowers the sound pressure level of total flooding Inert Gas Fire Suppression System discharges. The typical discharge for these systems tend to have a pronounced acoustic output, more than 110 dB measured at a 3 feet distance. The effect of these interactions could pose challenges for sound and vibration sensitive micro-mechanical systems. While lessening the adverse effects by moderating the sound pressure level to 110 dB or less, this acoustic nozzle offers one of the most extensive coverage areas and efficient radial throw discharges today, validated by accredited certification bodies for use in the Kidde Fire Systems Natura™ Inert Gas System.
