Verification Method

This verification has two differentiating levels of achievement based on the number of points earned during the assessment. As a prerequisite, this program also requires a successful Verification under the “Verified Healthy Building for New Construction” program before a Construction Transparency Verification Mark is issued. The assessment procedure consists of a review of the following documentation and supporting photographic evidence: • Material specifications and material test reports • Inspection reports of materials and their installation • Post-installation testing reports of certain materials The verification of each feature listed below earns one (1) point, with: 0-8 points = No Verification Mark issued 9-12 Points = “Verified Construction Transparency” 13-16 points = “Verified Enhanced Construction Transparency” The assessed features are as follows: Reinforcing columns, Reinforced exterior wall, Reinforcing beams, Concrete aggregates, Concrete delivery time, Slump test, Chloride ion test, Application of balcony waterproofing membranes, Testing of balcony applied waterproofing membranes, Application of bathroom waterproofing membranes, Testing of bathroom applied waterproofing membranes, Drainage line inspection, Water supply pressure testing, Steel reinforcement bars are free from radiation, Steel reinforcement bars meet manufacturing tolerance, Concrete strength The program confirms the customer has accepted the performance of key designer-specified construction elements.
