PFOA and PFOS testing: Quantity of PFOA is determined in liquid samples using the mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) test method entirely in accordance with SOP-ANL-28. Quantity of PFOS is determined in liquid samples using the mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) test method entirely in accordance with SOP-ANL-28. The Quantification limits are 1.65 µg/L for PFOA and 1.38 µg/L for PFOS. The quantitative test methods are based on restrictions on the marking and use of PFOS as identified in EU Directive 2006/122/EC, and on the dilution and extraction methods identified in DS/CEN/TS 15968: “Determination of extractable perfluorooctanesulphonate (PFOS) in coated and impregnated solid articles, liquids and firefighting foams - Method for sampling, extraction and analysis by LCqMS or LC-tandem/MS”
