Verification Method
UL employs test, inspection, product analysis, demonstration and process analysis verification techniques to verify manufacturer claims. For this particular claim, UL measures the power consumption of these LED Monitors when the monitors are in "off mode". The power consumption during that state is 0.001W~0.009W or lower. The monitor samples tested comply with the applicable requirements of the following standards/regulations: EN 50564 : 2011 , 2nd edition issued May 2011; Electrical and electronic household and office equipment - Measurement of low power consumption , Clause 5, 5.2, 5.3 IEC 62301 : 2011, 2nd edition issued January 2011 ; Household electrical appliances - Measurement of standby power , Clause 5, 5.2, 5.3 EC No. 1275/2008 implementing Directive 2005/32/EC (and following) of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to Eco design requirements for standby and off mode electric power consumption of electrical and electronic household and office equipment
