EMC Surge Immunity up to 4000V (Normal Mode)
EMC Surge Immunity test is done to simulate lightning strike on an equipment. The test is to ensure that even after a lightning strike, the equipment functions in a normal manner. Typical voltage applied to simulate a lightning strike is 1000V. LG has gone above and beyond to build their products in such a manner that they withstand 4000 V. EMC Surge Immunity Test procedure was followed per IEC 61000-4-5 . Test results and criterion were followed per EN 55024.
