No PFOA / PFOS
Quantity of PFOA and PFOS are determined in liquid samples using the mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) test method in accordance with 211-AT-S0110. Perfluoro compounds (PFOA and PFOS) in the textile samples are extracted with methanol. The PFC content of the extracted samples are analyzed by liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometer (LC/MS/MS) using an external standard method of calibration. The minimum quantification limits are 0.3 µg/m2 and 0.01mg/kg for PFOS and PFOA respectively.
About the Company
At Confitex, it’s our mission to empower people who experience bladder leakage to live life - without holding back. Our stylish, washable range of underwear offers a breathable, absorbent, padless and odour resistant solution for the 1 in 3 women and 1 in 10 men who experience bladder weakness and incontinence. The secret is in our patented 3-layer textile technology, which is seamlessly integrated into the central panel of our underwear. With no plastics, Confitex is the eco-friendly alternative to disposable pads and diapers, which increasingly dominate our landfills and degrade our environment. Because we know that every individual need is unique, Confitex underwear is available in a range of styles, sizes and absorbency measures. By marrying functional technology to stylish design, we are changing the way that bladder leakage is handled – and smashing through stigmas along the way.
