Verification Method
Protocol: ASTM D 903 U-bend peel strength testing using cross head speed of 6.0 inches per minute. Tests were conducted using sealant tape applied to aluminum and unpainted plywood substrates lightly sanded prior to sample preparation to remove any surface contaminants. Baseline (as- received) samples were conditioned for a minimum of 40 hrs. at 73°F (23C) and 50% relative humidity. High temperature samples were conditioned at 194°F (90C) for 4 months (2976 hrs.) Water exposed samples were immersed in water maintained at 158°F (70°C) for 7 days. Household cleaner exposed samples were immersed in 100% bleach cleanup solution at 73°F (23C) for 7 days.
