The UL verification method is designed to provide informed levels of dimming performance measuring flicker index and optical flicker percentage of luminaires or lamps, when powered at their nominal supply voltage and frequency; it cover phase cut and non-phase cut dimming methods for all light sources. The measurements involve different dimming levels; full light output, dimming to 20, 10, min light output.
