Products assessed under this investigation: Sample A: LG model: S4-Q09AA31B (9,000 Btu/h) Sample B: A representative 9,000 Btu/h model purchased in the open market in 2022. Test set-up: - 15 temperature sensors distributed inside a 20m³ volume chamber. - Temperature sensors distributed per INMETRO guidance document DOQ-CGCRE-028. - Initial chamber settings: 33.0 +/- 2.0 °C, 60.0 +/- 15.0 %RH - Mini split air conditioner set point temperature: 26° C - Total test time (Stabilization time + Operation time): 3h:40min - Minimum stabilization time: 1h:00min For each unit assessed: - Determine the point in time that the units achieved pull-down to the set point temperature. - After the pull-down period, use the data from the 15 temperature sensors to calculate the average temperature in the chamber every 15 seconds. - Calculate the standard deviation of the averages calculated in step 2 above. Temperature stability comparison is calculated as follows: (St. Dev Sample B - St. Dev Sample A) / St. Dev Sample B
