Battery Life, Noise Levels, and PCMark 10 Benchmark Scores Verified
UL tested the Dell Latitude 5495 notebook computer configured with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO Mobile 2500U processor in June 2018 under controlled conditions. Battery life was tested and measured with the PCMark 10 benchmarking application developed by UL. The battery was calibrated prior to testing, screen brightness was set to 110 cd/m2, and the PC was set up according to UL’s recommended test process. The battery life reported for each scenario is the average value from three test runs. • PCMark 10 Modern Office battery life: 10 hours 43 minutes • PCMark 10 Video battery life: 8 hours 48 minutes • PCMark 10 Gaming battery life: 2 hours 14 minutes The computer's noise level was measured in a quiet office room with the microphone placed 1 m from the PC. Noise level readings were taken every 30 seconds while the PC ran the PCMark 10 performance benchmark to simulate active PC use. • Ambient noise level in testing room: 34 dBA • Dell Latitude 5495 noise level range: 34-37 dBA • Dell Latitude 5495 noise level average: 35.25 dBA The performance of the Dell Latitude 5495 was measured with the PCMark 10 benchmarking application developed by UL.
