Verification Method
Product was attached to an ear simulator centrally positioned between 5 noise-generating speakers (4 active speakers and 1 sub-woofer) while pink noise played at a cumulative level of 80dB. Ten (10) second recordings were made from the ear simulator with the DUT’s Active Noise-Cancelling (ANC) feature turned off and on. The measured noise attenuation was calculated and reported in support of the claim. Low band is defined as the frequency range less than 700 Hz.
