Verified Healthy Building for Indoor Air
UL’s Healthy Buildings Verification Mark for Indoor Air demonstrates that indoor spaces provide healthy indoor air quality (IAQ). It shows a commitment by building owners and managers to create and maintain indoor environments that support tenant health, well-being and comfort, backed by UL’s globally recognized expertise in IAQ and building health. These buildings meet rigorous performance criteria and have policies and plans in place for continual advancement of IAQ. To achieve the UL Healthy Buildings Verification Mark, spaces underwent a desktop audit and on-site visits that include visual inspections and performance testing to evaluate a range of building conditions. The program includes an annual comprehensive assessment coupled with surveillance at the mid-year point. The IAQ testing requirements verify that the building air meets rigorous standards. These standards are aligned with industry-recognized, third-party organizations such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), among others. All laboratory testing and analysis methodologies are informed by the EPA Compendium of Methods, ASTM D5197 and TO-17 for air sampling, and EPA methods.
Legacy Town Center has been institutionally owned and maintained since its completion. Buildings I and II were completed in 2001/2002 and building III was completed in 2006. The buildings feature richly detailed, granite-accented exteriors and lobbies appointed with granite and exotic wood finishes. All three buildings have earned the prestigious WiredScore Platinum and Energy Star designation. The buildings’ floor plates range from 20,500 to 27,000 square feet, allowing efficient space planning for both full-floor and multi-tenant layouts. Legacy Town Center is located within the renowned Shops at Legacy, with immediate walkability to over 84 restaurants and retailers, as well as a Marriott hotel. In addition, the project is within close proximity to Legacy West, another mixed use development that offers an additional 15 restaurants, including Legacy Food Hall (with 20 artisanal food stands), 45 retailers, and a Renaissance Hotel. Legacy Town Center features excellent on-site amenities as well, including two conference centers, a new state of the art fitness center with full lockers and showers, a private shuttle for easy access to the Shops and Legacy West, amongst others.
